Description

These No Bake Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Protein Balls are a delicious, easy-to-make snack that combines oats, chocolate chips, peanut butter, honey, and protein powder, offering a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)

1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)

1/4 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chocolate chips, and protein powder.
  2. Add the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until well combined. If the mixture feels too dry, add a splash of milk or water to make it easier to mix.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or tray.
  4. Chill the protein balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
  5. Once chilled, enjoy the protein balls or store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

For longer storage, freeze them for up to a month and let them thaw before enjoying.

To make them vegan, substitute honey with maple syrup and use plant-based protein powder.

Substitute chocolate chips with dark chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, or cacao nibs for different variations.

Use certified gluten-free oats to make the recipe gluten-free.
