Description

A creamy and indulgent no-bake dessert that layers Nutella mousse, crushed wafers, and Ferrero Rocher chocolates into a rich, elegant treat perfect for gatherings or a decadent chocolate fix.

Ingredients

10 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chopped

1 1/2 cups crushed hazelnut wafers or chocolate wafers

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 1/2 cups cold heavy cream

1/2 cup mascarpone cheese or cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup Nutella

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Extra Ferrero Rocher and crushed hazelnuts for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed wafers and melted butter in a bowl, then press the mixture into the bottom of serving glasses or a dish to form the crust.
  2. In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened mascarpone (or cream cheese) with Nutella, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture until fluffy and smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe half of the mousse over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates over the mousse.
  7. Add another layer of the mousse on top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours or overnight to set.
  9. Before serving, top with extra Ferrero Rocher pieces and crushed hazelnuts.

Notes

Can be prepared the night before and chilled overnight.

Store in refrigerator for up to 3 days, not suitable for freezing.

For a nut-free version, use chocolate wafers and truffles instead of Ferrero Rocher.

Add a teaspoon of hazelnut liqueur for an adult twist.

Can also be made in a larger dish for slice-and-serve presentation.
