Description
A creamy and indulgent no-bake dessert that layers Nutella mousse, crushed wafers, and Ferrero Rocher chocolates into a rich, elegant treat perfect for gatherings or a decadent chocolate fix.
Ingredients
10 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, chopped
1 1/2 cups crushed hazelnut wafers or chocolate wafers
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 1/2 cups cold heavy cream
1/2 cup mascarpone cheese or cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup Nutella
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Extra Ferrero Rocher and crushed hazelnuts for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Combine crushed wafers and melted butter in a bowl, then press the mixture into the bottom of serving glasses or a dish to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat softened mascarpone (or cream cheese) with Nutella, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture until fluffy and smooth.
- Spoon or pipe half of the mousse over the crust.
- Sprinkle chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates over the mousse.
- Add another layer of the mousse on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours or overnight to set.
- Before serving, top with extra Ferrero Rocher pieces and crushed hazelnuts.
Notes
Can be prepared the night before and chilled overnight.
Store in refrigerator for up to 3 days, not suitable for freezing.
For a nut-free version, use chocolate wafers and truffles instead of Ferrero Rocher.
Add a teaspoon of hazelnut liqueur for an adult twist.
Can also be made in a larger dish for slice-and-serve presentation.
