Ingredients

For the Cookies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles or chopped nuts (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter and powdered sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
