- 3 tbsp unflavored gelatin (about 3 packets)
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- Cooking spray (for molds, optional)
Instructions
- Bloom the Gelatin: Pour cold water into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Heat & Dissolve the Ingredients: Turn heat to low, stir the mixture, and add Kool-Aid drink mix and sugar. Stir continuously for 3–5 minutes until smooth and thickened. Avoid boiling.
- Pour into Molds: Lightly spray silicone molds with cooking spray and carefully pour the warm mixture into the molds. Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before refrigerating for 1–2 hours to set.
- Remove & Enjoy: Once firm, pop the gummies out of the molds. Store in an airtight container or enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Variations: Add citric acid for sour gummies or coat in sugar for extra flavor. You can make multi-flavor gummies with different Kool-Aid packets.
- Storage: Keep gummies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or store at room temperature for 3–4 days.
