Elevate your dinner game with this Juicy Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce recipe! Tender, perfectly seared steaks are paired with a rich, creamy garlic sauce that bursts with flavor. Ready in just 30 minutes, it’s a restaurant-quality dish you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

For the Steaks:

  • 4 beef steaks (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup beef or chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  • Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare or cook to your preferred doneness. Remove and let rest.
  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Lower heat, then add cream and stock. Stir in Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return steaks to skillet, spoon sauce over them, and warm for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve steaks topped with sauce, garnished with parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust sauce thickness by simmering longer or adding a cornstarch slurry.
  • For dairy-free, substitute coconut cream and plant-based butter.
  • Fresh herbs like rosemary or basil can add a new flavor dimension.
