Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix Wet Ingredients – In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and dissolved coffee until smooth.
- Combine & Fold – Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake – Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool – Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle & Serve – Once cooled, generously drizzle caramel sauce over the cake before serving.
