Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prepare the Honey Syrup:
    • Combine all syrup ingredients in a saucepan.
    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
    • Cool completely before using.
  • Prepare the Baklava Layers:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Mix pistachios, walnuts, and cinnamon in a bowl.
    • Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
    • Layer 6 phyllo sheets, brushing each with melted butter.
    • Add half the nut mixture.
    • Repeat with another 6 buttered phyllo sheets and the remaining nuts.
  • Make the Cheesecake Filling:
    • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
    • Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly.
    • Stir in vanilla, sour cream, and lemon juice.
    • Pour over the prepared baklava layers.
