Description

Honey Glazed Salmon is a quick and easy dish featuring the rich, buttery flavor of salmon paired with a sweet and savory honey-soy glaze. Ready in just 20 minutes, this nutritious recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (57 ounces each)
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

For the Honey Glaze:

  • ½ cup salted butter (or olive oil for a healthier option)
  • 5 cloves garlic, freshly minced
  • ½ cup honey (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  • Prepare the Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine butter, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Whisk until smooth. Simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Apply the Glaze: Pour the honey glaze over the salmon fillets, ensuring an even coating.
  • Bake: Bake for 12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve: Spoon any remaining glaze over the salmon and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add a teaspoon of sriracha or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Incorporate lemon or lime juice into the glaze for a citrus twist.
  • Sprinkle with fresh herbs like dill or parsley for added flavor.
