Description

These honey garlic ribs combine tender pork spareribs with a sticky, sweet, and savory honey-garlic glaze. Perfect for family dinners or barbecues, this easy-to-make recipe is a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds pork spareribs
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup distilled white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Set to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the ribs: Slice ribs into individual portions.
  • Make the sauce: Combine honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and minced garlic in a bowl. Stir until dissolved. Add baking soda and stir until foamy.
  • Coat the ribs: Place ribs in the bowl and coat evenly with the sauce.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet: Line a cookie sheet with foil, arrange ribs meat-side up, pour leftover sauce over ribs, and sprinkle garlic salt.
  • Bake: Cook for 1 hour, turning ribs every 20 minutes for even caramelization.
  • Serve: Let rest briefly after baking and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicy twist, add chili flakes or hot sauce to the marinade.
  • Use gluten-free soy sauce to make the recipe gluten-free.
  • Finish ribs on a grill for added smokiness.
