Description

This creamy and aromatic vanilla cinnamon milk tea blends warm spices with a touch of vanilla, making it the perfect drink to start your day or wind down in the evening. With simple ingredients and a quick preparation time, it’s a delightful and comforting choice.

Ingredients

1 cup water

1 black tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose leaf black tea)

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

12 teaspoons honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

Cinnamon stick or additional ground cinnamon, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the tea bag and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  2. Remove the tea bag and stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  3. Heat the mixture over low-medium heat until warm, ensuring it does not boil. Sweeten with honey or your preferred sweetener if desired.
  4. Pour the milk tea into a mug and garnish with a cinnamon stick or a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.

Notes

For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea bag longer or use two tea bags.

Adjust the sweetness and spice level to your preference.

For an extra creamy texture, use whole milk or barista-style non-dairy milk like oat or almond.
