Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags (or loose leaf tea, equivalent to 2 bags)
- 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative, such as almond milk)
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add the tea bags and simmer for 3-4 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
- While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in another small saucepan over medium heat until warm (but not boiling). Stir in the cinnamon and vanilla extract.
- Remove the tea bags from the hot water and discard them. Add honey or sugar to the tea, stirring until dissolved.
