Description

This Homemade Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea combines the warm, comforting flavors of vanilla and cinnamon with a creamy tea base, creating the perfect drink for chilly days or as a sweet afternoon treat. Made with black tea, milk, and a touch of honey or sugar, it’s the ideal cozy drink to relax with. The added cinnamon and vanilla give this tea a delightful aromatic twist, making it perfect for any tea lover looking to enjoy a comforting and flavorful beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags (or loose leaf tea, equivalent to 2 bags)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative, such as almond milk)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add the tea bags and simmer for 3-4 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
  • While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in another small saucepan over medium heat until warm (but not boiling). Stir in the cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  • Remove the tea bags from the hot water and discard them. Add honey or sugar to the tea, stirring until dissolved.
  • Pour the warm milk mixture into the brewed tea and stir gently to combine.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more honey or sugar if desired.
  • Pour the tea into a mug and top with whipped cream (optional). Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the comforting flavors of vanilla and cinnamon!

Notes

  • Feel free to use any dairy-free milk, such as almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk for a vegan version.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less honey or sugar.
  • For an extra special touch, top with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
