Description

Homemade Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs are the ultimate cheesy appetizer, combining gooey mozzarella cheese with buttery biscuit dough, all brushed with savory garlic butter. Perfect for gatherings, these bite-sized treats are guaranteed to be a hit with their delicious, cheesy goodness in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) container refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Prepare Dough: Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle using your fingers.
  • Add Cheese: Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough circle.
  • Seal: Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese and pinch them together to form a ball. Place each ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt.
  • Brush Dough: Generously brush each dough ball with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese inside is melted.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with optional marinara sauce for dipping.

  • Cheese Options: Try different cheeses like cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for a unique flavor twist.
  • Storage/Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a 300°F oven for 5 minutes.
