Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: Chocolate frosting, sprinkles, or powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter for 1-2 minutes, stirring until smooth.
