Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust
    • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
    • Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
    • Press mixture into a greased 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes; let cool.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer
    • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
    • Add vanilla and eggs, mixing until combined.
    • Fold in sour cream and cocoa powder.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake
    • Pour batter over the crust.
    • Bake for 55-65 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
    • Turn off oven, crack the door, and cool for 1 hour.
  4. Chill and Assemble
    • Refrigerate cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
    • Before serving, top with cherry pie filling, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings.
