Description

Grinch Peppermint Fudge is a festive holiday treat featuring creamy white chocolate, a refreshing peppermint flavor, and a vibrant green hue. Topped with red heart sprinkles, this easy-to-make fudge is a perfect Christmas dessert or edible gift.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 11 ounces white chocolate morsels
  • 7 ounces marshmallow cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Green gel food coloring
  • Green sugar and red heart sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Combine Mix-Ins: In a large mixing bowl, add white chocolate morsels, marshmallow cream, peppermint extract, and a drop of green gel food coloring.
  • Cook the Mixture: In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine butter, heavy cream, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Continue boiling for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Mix Together: Remove from heat and pour the hot mixture over the white chocolate mixture. Blend with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Pour and Garnish: Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan, sprinkle with green sugar, and place red heart sprinkles on top. Press lightly into the fudge.
  • Set the Fudge: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Cut into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant color without altering the consistency.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container for up to two weeks or freeze for longer storage.
  • Customize with different extracts, colors, or add-ins like crushed candy canes or chocolate chips.
