Description

Grinch Oreo Balls are festive no-bake desserts made with red velvet Oreos, cream cheese, and a green candy shell topped with red heart sprinkles. Perfect for Christmas gatherings, these whimsical treats are a hit with kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 44 Red Velvet Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • Light green candy melts
  • Red heart sprinkles

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oreo Mixture: Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor. Beat softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl, then combine with Oreo crumbs until smooth.
  • Form the Balls: Scoop the mixture into 1.5-inch portions, roll into balls, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 2 hours.
  • Coat with Chocolate: Melt green candy melts in a double boiler. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted candy, letting excess drip off. Return to the baking sheet.
  • Decorate: While the coating is still wet, top each ball with a red heart sprinkle. Optionally, drizzle with extra melted candy.
  • Set and Serve: Let the coating harden completely before serving. Chill to speed up the process.

Notes

  • Substitute red velvet Oreos with other flavors for variety.
  • Use coconut oil to thin the candy melts if needed.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
