Description

Green Velvet Cupcakes are a festive twist on classic red velvet, offering a moist and fluffy texture with subtle cocoa and vanilla flavors. Their vibrant green color makes them perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or themed celebrations. Topped with creamy frosting, these cupcakes are both delicious and visually stunning.

Cupcakes

  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: Sift together cake flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk sugar, milk, oil, egg, vinegar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, whisking until the batter is smooth.

  6. Fill Liners: Spoon the batter into cupcake liners, filling each about ⅔ full.
  7. Bake: Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool: Let cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Frost & Decorate: Once completely cool, top with frosting and sprinkles.

Notes
