Description

Refreshing and tangy Green Tea, Lemon & Ginger Chews combine the soothing benefits of green tea, the zesty kick of ginger, and the vibrant flavor of lemon. These easy-to-make, healthy chews are the perfect guilt-free snack for a boost of energy and wellness.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) cold water
  • 5 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup strongly brewed green tea (use 4 tea bags)
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) ginger juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice or preservative-free bottled lemon juice
  • Optional: honey, to taste

Instructions

  • Pour cold water into a medium saucepan and sprinkle gelatin powder evenly on top. Let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  • Brew green tea with 4 tea bags, steeping per package instructions. Remove bags and ensure you have 1/2 cup of strong tea.
  • Add brewed tea, ginger juice, and lemon juice to the bloomed gelatin. Heat on low, stirring until gelatin dissolves. Avoid boiling.
  • Taste and sweeten with honey if desired, stirring to combine.
  • Carefully pour mixture into silicone molds or a lightly greased baking dish.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Remove from molds or cut into squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness based on your taste preference using honey or another natural sweetener.
  • For an extra boost, try adding a pinch of turmeric for added anti-inflammatory benefits.
