Description

Ingredients

  • 1316 cups popcorn (lightly salted)
  • 1 cup butter
  • 16 ounces mini marshmallows
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • Optional:
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla
    • Flake sea salt
    • ½ cup mini M&Ms

Instructions

  • Prepare the Popcorn:
    Place 13–16 cups of lightly salted popcorn in a large bowl.
  • Melt Butter and Marshmallows:
    In a pan over medium-low heat, melt 1 cup of butter and 16 ounces of mini marshmallows, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  • Add Brown Sugar:
    Stir in ¾ cup of brown sugar until dissolved (1 minute). Optionally add ½ teaspoon of vanilla.
  • Coat the Popcorn:
    Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn and stir until fully coated. Adjust with more popcorn if needed.
  • Spread and Garnish:
    Spread the coated popcorn onto wax paper. Garnish with sea salt, mini M&Ms, or other toppings. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or drizzle with melted chocolate.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat at 250°F if needed to restore gooeyness.
