Ingredients
- 13–16 cups popcorn (lightly salted)
- 1 cup butter
- 16 ounces mini marshmallows
- ¾ cup light brown sugar (packed)
- Optional:
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- Flake sea salt
- ½ cup mini M&Ms
Instructions
- Prepare the Popcorn:
Place 13–16 cups of lightly salted popcorn in a large bowl. - Melt Butter and Marshmallows:
In a pan over medium-low heat, melt 1 cup of butter and 16 ounces of mini marshmallows, stirring occasionally until smooth. - Add Brown Sugar:
Stir in ¾ cup of brown sugar until dissolved (1 minute). Optionally add ½ teaspoon of vanilla. - Coat the Popcorn:
Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn and stir until fully coated. Adjust with more popcorn if needed. - Spread and Garnish:
Spread the coated popcorn onto wax paper. Garnish with sea salt, mini M&Ms, or other toppings. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or drizzle with melted chocolate.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat at 250°F if needed to restore gooeyness.
