If you’re in the mood for a simple yet delicious meal, these Garlic Butter Chicken Bites are a must-try! Ready in just 15 minutes, this dish features tender chicken pieces sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, seasoned with aromatic herbs, and finished with fresh parsley. Ideal for a weeknight dinner or an appetizer, these juicy bites are sure to impress.

Ingredients

  • 20 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel, then cut them into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Season the chicken: In a bowl, combine the flour, basil, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken pieces until fully coated.
  3. Cook the chicken: Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once the oil is hot and the butter has melted, add the chicken in a single layer. Let the chicken cook undisturbed for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Add flavor: Add the remaining butter, minced garlic, and parsley to the pan. Cook for another minute, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately, either on its own or with a side like rice, pasta, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • Variations:

    • Spicy Kick: Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for some heat.
    • Zesty Flavor: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked chicken.
    • Herb Swap: Experiment with thyme or rosemary for different flavors.
    • Parmesan Garnish: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan for added richness.
  • Storage/Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm the chicken in the microwave or stovetop until heated through.
