With easy-to-follow steps and simple ingredients, these rolls will elevate your dinner table with their irresistible aroma and taste!

Ingredients

  • Flour
  • Sugar
  • Yeast (Instant or Active Dry)
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Parsley
  • Egg

Instructions

  • Prepare the garlic butter: In a bowl, combine softened butter with minced garlic and herbs. Set aside.
  • Combine the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and yeast.
  • Add wet ingredients: Pour in warm milk, melted butter, and a beaten egg. Stir to combine.
  • Knead the dough: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Let the dough rise: Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Shape the rolls: Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a roll and place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Let the rolls rise again: Cover with a cloth and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Brush with garlic butter: Once the rolls are baked, immediately brush with the prepared garlic butter and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding grated Parmesan or mozzarella cheese inside the rolls before baking.
  • If you prefer a different flavor profile, try substituting the parsley with thyme, oregano, or rosemary.
  • If using active dry yeast, remember to activate it by dissolving it in warm milk before combining with other ingredients.
