Description

Fruit jelly is a nutritious, creamy dessert made with strawberries, raspberries, milk, and gelatine. Perfect for kids and adults alike, this quick-to-make treat is naturally sweet and easily customizable with different fruits or vegan options.

Ingredients

  • 1 sachet powdered gelatine (or 4 gelatine leaves, soaked)
  • 200ml whole milk or milk alternative
  • 150g strawberries
  • 50g raspberries

Instructions

  1. Warm the Milk: Heat the milk gently in a saucepan over low heat. Add gelatine, stirring until fully dissolved. Do not allow the milk to boil.
  2. Add Fruits: Blend the strawberries and raspberries into the milk mixture using a blender or immersion blender until smooth.
  3. Set the Jelly: Pour the mixture into serving dishes or molds. Chill in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours until set.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, use agar-agar and plant-based milk.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding honey or maple syrup if needed.
  • Experiment with other fruits like blueberries, mangoes, or bananas.
