Ingredients

  • 2 whole lemons (peeled)
  • 2 large bunches of fresh ginger
  • 1 whole head of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cayenne pepper (optional)
  • ½ tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey (or maple syrup/agave for vegan option)
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Peel and cut lemons into small pieces.
    • Peel and chop ginger into chunks.
    • Peel garlic cloves.
  2. Blend:
    • Combine lemons, ginger, and garlic in a high-speed blender.
    • Add turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, cayenne (if using), apple cider vinegar, honey, and water.
    • Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain:
    • Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove solids, yielding a concentrated liquid.
  4. Freeze:
    • Distribute the liquid into silicone muffin trays or ice cube trays, about 1/8 cup per compartment.
    • Freeze for 4–6 hours or overnight.
  5. Store:
    • Transfer frozen tea bombs to an airtight container or freezer bag.

To Serve: Place one tea bomb in a cup of hot water. Stir until dissolved and enjoy.
