Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 6-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the creamed mixture, alternating with milk and rose syrup. Begin and end with the dry ingredients.
- Divide batter evenly among pans. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar to stiff peaks.
- Assemble cake: Place one layer on a plate, spread whipped cream on top, and repeat with remaining layers. Frost the cake with the remaining whipped cream.
- Garnish with fresh rose petals.
