Description

This Easy Marinated Cheese Appetizer with Salami & Pickles is a quick, customizable, and crowd-pleasing party dish. Featuring sharp cheddar, creamy mozzarella, salami, and dill pickles in a tangy marinade, it’s the perfect savory treat for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz block of sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz block of mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 6 oz salami, sliced into strips or small pieces
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cheese and Ingredients:
Cube the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Slice the salami and pickles into smaller pieces.
  2. Make Marinade:
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Assemble Appetizer:
In a medium bowl, combine the cubed cheeses, salami, and pickles. Pour the marinade over the mixture and gently toss to coat.
  4. Marinate:
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve chilled with crackers or bread for dipping.
