Ingredients
For the Bread Dough:
- 1 (16 oz) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Icing:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Roll out the thawed bread dough on a lightly floured surface into a 10×12-inch rectangle.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon.
- Brush melted butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture across the surface.
- Slice the dough into 1-inch strips. Stack the strips and cut them into 3–4 smaller stacks.
- Arrange the stacks upright in the prepared loaf pan to create layers.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow the bread to cool slightly before removing it from the pan.
- For the icing, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust milk for consistency.
- Drizzle icing generously over the warm bread and serve immediately.
