Description

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

For the Streusel Topping:

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
    • Mix flour, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl until well combined.
    • Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
    • Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Filling:
    • Spread raspberry jam evenly over the cooled crust.
    • Sprinkle fresh raspberries and dark chocolate chips on top.
  • Make the Streusel Topping:
    • In a bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
    • Cut in the cold, cubed butter with a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    • Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the filling.
  • Bake:
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbly.
    • Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
