Ingredients

For the Buttery Base:

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Berry-Chocolate Layer:

  • 1 cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

For the Streusel Topping:

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
    • Mix flour and sugar in a bowl for the base. Add melted butter and combine until crumbly.
    • Press mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly golden. Cool completely.
  • Add the Berry-Chocolate Layer:
    • Spread raspberry jam evenly over the cooled crust.
    • Sprinkle fresh raspberries and dark chocolate chips over the jam.
  • Make the Streusel Topping:
    • In a separate bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
    • Cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until crumbly.
  • Assemble and Bake:
    • Sprinkle streusel topping evenly over the berry-chocolate layer.
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and chocolate is slightly melted.
