Description

Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are an irresistible combination of crunchy, golden-brown salmon bites paired with a creamy, spicy, and slightly sweet Bang Bang sauce. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish, these bites are easy to make and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

For the Salmon Bites:
  • 1 lb salmon fillet (skin removed, cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

  • Prepare the salmon bites – Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Set up the breading station – Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a third bowl.
  • Bread the salmon – Dip each salmon cube into the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well-coated for maximum crispiness.
  • Fry the salmon – Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Fry the salmon bites in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Make the Bang Bang sauce – In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth and creamy.
  • Serve and enjoy – Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the crispy salmon bites or serve it on the side for dipping. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for extra flair!
