Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillets (skin removed, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Optional Garnishes:

  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
  • Green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Prep the Salmon:
    • Pat salmon fillets dry and cut into 1-inch cubes.
    • In a large bowl, coat salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (optional). Toss to combine.
  • Make the Bang Bang Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
  • Cook the Salmon:
    • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil.
    • Add salmon pieces in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Work in batches if necessary.
  • Serve:
    • Transfer cooked salmon bites to a serving dish.
    • Drizzle with Bang Bang sauce or serve sauce on the side for dipping.
    • Garnish with parsley, green onions, and sesame seeds, if desired.

Notes

  • Adjustable Heat: Control spice levels by adding more or less sriracha and cayenne.
  • Alternative Cooking Methods: Bake salmon at 400°F for 10–12 minutes or air-fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.
