Ingredients
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared pan, sealing any perforations to form a solid crust.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, beaten egg, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread this mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer, again sealing any perforations.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the top layer of dough.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/4 cup of granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into 24 squares.
Notes
