Description

A moist and flavorful Cinnamon Sugar Yellow Cake made with a boxed mix, cinnamon, and vanilla pudding for the ultimate easy dessert. Perfect for gatherings or as a simple weekday treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines preferred)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan or 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix, brown sugar, white sugar, pudding mix, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs, water, and oil to the dry ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes (Bundt pan) or 30–35 minutes (9×13-inch pan). Check with a toothpick for doneness.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Serve as-is or top with powdered sugar or glaze.

Notes

  • Add-ins like chopped nuts or chocolate chips can elevate the flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
