Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Christmas sprinkles or nonpareils
- Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until dough forms.

- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on the baking sheet. Lightly press to flatten slightly.

- Bake:

- Cool & Serve:
