Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) hot dogs, sliced
  • 1 can (15 oz) chili (with or without beans)
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare:
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, mix sliced hot dogs, chili, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Add diced onion if desired.
  • Layer the Casserole:
    Unroll crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the baking dish to form an even base. Spread the hot dog and chili mixture over the dough.
  • Top with Cheese:
    Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake:
    Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crescent roll dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
