Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 package Italian dressing mix (or 3 tablespoons)
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2–3 green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Filling: Combine softened cream cheese and cream of chicken soup in a medium pot over medium heat until smooth. Stir in the Italian dressing mix and reduce to low heat.
- Mix in Chicken: Transfer most of the mixture to a bowl, leaving some in the pot for serving. Add shredded chicken and green onions to the bowl and mix.
- Prepare Dough: Unroll crescent dough on a baking sheet, separating triangles.
- Fill and Roll: Place chicken mixture on each triangle and roll from the wide end to encase filling.
- Bake: Bake for 9-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Top with reserved gravy and serve warm.
