Description

Rich and indulgent Cherry Coke Fudge combines the nostalgic flavors of Cherry Coke, chocolate, and cherries in a decadent no-bake treat. Perfect for holidays, parties, or gift-giving, this fudge is easy to make and packed with sweet, tangy, and fizzy goodness.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Cherry Coke (or any cherry-flavored cola)
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  • Melt Butter: Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Mix in Cherry Coke: Stir in the Cherry Coke and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift powdered sugar and cocoa powder together.
  • Make the Fudge: Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients. Add vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Fold in maraschino cherries and mini chocolate chips if desired.
  • Set the Fudge: Spread the mixture into the prepared pan. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  • Serve: Lift fudge out using parchment/foil and slice into squares.

Notes

  • Ensure maraschino cherries are well-drained and patted dry to prevent excess moisture.
  • Optional add-ins like nuts or extra cherries can enhance texture and flavor.
