Description

Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick and easy meal bursting with tender chicken, creamy cheese, and bold garlic flavors, all wrapped in a golden tortilla. Perfect for busy weeknights or a family-friendly lunch, this dish is ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 large tortillas
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Sauté Garlic: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Cook Chicken: Add cooked chicken to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring to coat evenly.
  • Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese until smooth.
  • Combine Fillings: Remove chicken from the skillet and mix it into the cheese mixture until well-coated.
  • Assemble Wraps: Place the mixture onto tortillas. Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese, fold the sides, and roll into wraps.
  • Toast Wraps: Heat a clean skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Toast wraps for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese melts.
  • Garnish and Serve: Optionally, garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
  • Include veggies like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • Swap mozzarella for pepper jack for a bold flavor.
