Description

This Cheese Lover’s Antipasto Wreath is a savory, Mediterranean-inspired appetizer wrapped in buttery crescent dough. Filled with mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, olives, roasted peppers, and more, it makes for a visually stunning and irresistible snack. Perfect for parties or cozy gatherings, this easy-to-make wreath will be a hit with any cheese lover.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz mozzarella balls, drained
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup marinated olives (green and Kalamata)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
  • ½ cup artichoke hearts, marinated and chopped
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, arrange the dough triangles in a circle with the points facing outward, leaving a small gap in the center.
  • Layer the mozzarella balls, provolone slices, and cheddar slices inside the dough circle.
  • Add the marinated olives, cherry tomato halves, roasted red pepper slices, and chopped artichoke hearts.
  • Sprinkle fresh basil and parsley over the top.
  • Carefully fold the dough points over the filling, forming a wreath shape. Ensure the filling stays inside.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the dough and sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with extra fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

  • Vegan option: Use dairy-free cheese and olive oil instead of butter.
  • Spicy kick: Add chili flakes or sliced jalapeños for some heat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10-15 minutes or in the microwave for a quicker option.
