Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 6 tbsp melted butter

For the Caramel Layer:

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • ½ tsp sea salt

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Whipped Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For Garnish (Optional):

  • Chocolate shavings
  • Drizzle of caramel sauce
  • Chopped nuts

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Crust

  • In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
  • Press firmly into an 8×8-inch pan and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

2️⃣ Add the Caramel Layer

  • Spread caramel sauce evenly over the crust.
  • Sprinkle sea salt on top and return to the fridge.

3️⃣ Make the Chocolate Layer

  • Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until warm (do not boil).
  • Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Layer the Chocolate

  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the caramel layer.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.

5️⃣ Prepare the Whipped Topping

  • Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • Spread over the chilled chocolate layer.

6️⃣ Garnish & Serve

  • Top with chocolate shavings, caramel drizzle, or chopped nuts.
