Ingredients
For the Brownie Base:
- 1 package brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the package)
For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
For the Caramel Swirl:
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

- Whipped cream
- Chocolate shavings
Instructions
Prepare the Brownie Base:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Prepare brownie batter per package instructions and spread evenly in the pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:
- Reduce oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract.
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.
- Spread cheesecake batter evenly over cooled brownie base.
Add the Caramel Swirl:
- Drizzle caramel sauce over cheesecake batter.
- Swirl caramel with a knife or toothpick for a marbled effect.
Bake the Cheesecake:
- Place springform pan on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until edges are set and center slightly jiggles.
- Cool in the oven with the door cracked for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve:
- Remove from springform pan.
- Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired.
