Description

Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies are the easiest homemade cookies you’ll ever make! With just four ingredients, these soft and chewy cookies are ready in 20 minutes. Perfect for holidays, bake sales, or a quick treat, you can customize them with any cake mix flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) cake mix (any flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape the Cookies – Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll them into balls, and coat them in powdered sugar.
  • Arrange and Bake – Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the tops crinkle.
  • Cool – Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Try different cake mix flavors like chocolate, lemon, red velvet, or funfetti.
  • Stir in chocolate chips, nuts, or sprinkles for extra texture.
  • Chilling the dough for 30 minutes can help with handling but is optional.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
