Butterfinger Caramel Crunch Bars are a decadent dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, gooey caramel layer, rich chocolate topping, and crunchy Butterfinger pieces. These easy-to-make bars are perfect for parties, bake sales, or as a sweet indulgence at home.
Ingredients
For the crust:
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
For the caramel layer:
- 1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
For the topping:
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars
Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Make the Crust – In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake & Cool – Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool slightly.
- Melt the Caramel – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel candies and heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Assemble the Layers – Pour caramel over the crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.
- Melt & Add Chocolate – Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth. Spread evenly over the caramel layer.
- Add Butterfinger Topping – Sprinkle crushed Butterfinger over the melted chocolate and gently press down.
- Chill & Set – Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Slice & Serve – Lift bars out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
