Description

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of beef
  • 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 4 leaves of lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the beef: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the beef until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Turn occasionally and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Toast the Bread: While the beef cooks, toast the bread slices to your preferred crispness.
  • Prepare the Vegetables: Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomato and season with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble the Sandwich:
    • Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
    • Layer bacon, lettuce, and tomato on two slices of bread.
    • Top with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side down.
