Banana Pudding Rice Krispie Treats combine the nostalgic flavors of banana pudding with the crispy, chewy texture of Rice Krispie treats. This no-bake dessert is quick, easy, and perfect for parties, family gatherings, or a simple sweet treat. With layers of banana pudding, fresh bananas, and whipped cream, each bite is a delightful blend of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup honey (for drizzling)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan – Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
  • Melt Butter & Marshmallows – In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add mini marshmallows and stir until smooth.
  • Add Pudding Mix – Stir in the banana pudding mix until fully incorporated.
  • Combine with Cereal – Remove from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  • Transfer to Pan – Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish using a buttered spatula or wax paper. Let cool completely.
  • Prepare Banana Pudding – In a medium bowl, whisk together banana pudding mix and milk until thickened.
  • Assemble Layers – Spread the banana pudding over the cooled Rice Krispie layer. Top with sliced bananas and whipped cream.
  • Drizzle with Honey – Finish with a drizzle of honey.
  • Serve – Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Storage – Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Avoid Hard Treats – Don’t press the Rice Krispie mixture too firmly into the pan.
  • Make Ahead – Prepare the Rice Krispie base in advance, but add bananas and whipped cream just before serving.
