Description

This creamy Banana Fudge is a melt-in-your-mouth treat, made with ripe bananas, sweetened condensed milk, and optional white chocolate chips and nuts. Perfectly sweet and subtly fruity, it’s a delightful twist on classic fudge.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients:
    • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine mashed bananas, granulated sugar, butter, and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Cook the Mixture:
    • Stir constantly and bring the mixture to a boil.
    • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens to a fudgy consistency.
  • Add Flavors:
    • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
    • If using, mix in white chocolate chips and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
  • Pour and Set:
    • Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
    • Allow the fudge to cool completely at room temperature.
  • Serve:
    • Cut the fudge into squares and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, puree the bananas instead of mashing them.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
