Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in chopped nuts if desired.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared dish.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely before glazing.
