Ingredients

  • 1 package chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients for baking)
  • 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  • Bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely. Cut into cubes.
  • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in whipped cream until fully incorporated.
  • Layer half of the chocolate cake cubes in a trifle dish. Drizzle with half the Baileys Irish Cream.
  • Spread half the cream cheese mixture over the cake.
  • Repeat the layers with remaining cake cubes, Baileys, and cream cheese mixture.
  • Top with whipped cream, garnish with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
